HISTORIC MONFORTE DE LEMOS
The municipality of Monforte de Lemos is located in the south of the province of Lugo. Capital of Terra de Lemos and the Ribeira Sacra, after Lugo is the largest population center in the Province.
Its occupation is located between the Miño River and the Sil River and the city crosses the Cabe River. With an extension of almost 200km2 and 300 meters above sea level, this place has always been known as the natural entrance to Galicia from Castilla.
The history of Monforte de Lemos is linked to the Monastery of San Vicente do Pino. During the 16th and 17th centuries, Monforte de Lemos manages to transcend internationally with the person of Don Pedro Fernández de Castro, VII Count of Lemos and Viceroy of Naples. Also during this time, Cardenal Rodrigo de Castro makes his projection of the Colegio Nuestra Señora de la Antigua, emblematic building of the city and known as the Escorial Gallego.

NAVIGATING THE RIVER MIÑO AND THE SIL
Enjoy a catamaran ride along the Miño de Belesar to the island of Maiorga. This experience gives us the opportunity to observe the vineyard terraces of the entire Ribeira Sacra and, furthermore, discover the island of Meiorga during a short stop there.
The Os Robles route crosses the River Miño, an environment of unique natural beauty and biological value which has been declared a Biosphere Reserve. Along the boat trip you will be able to observe numerous specimens of flora and fauna typical of this natural area.
The route along the Sil River crosses deep valleys and canyons between the mountains, is the area where the river runs. During the trip, approximately two hours, you will be able to contemplate and enjoy the picturesque landscape of the D.O. Ribeira Sacra vineyards and the romantic route, full of monasteries and churches.

The Tower of Hercules is located on a hill on the peninsula of A Coruña, Galicia. With a height of 55 meters and dated to the 1st century AD. C., enjoys the privilege of being the only and the most oldest working Roman lighthouse in the world.
The Castro de Baroña is located in the parish of Baroña and belongs to the municipality of Porto do Son, which is located in the province of A Coruña. This settlement was built on a peninsula and the location of the castros dates from the 1st century B.C. to I AD counted with two great walls around it and, at present, twenty houses of circular or oval plant.

This famous route is the set of Christian pilgrimage routes of medieval origin that lead to the tomb of Santiago el Mayor, that is, to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, since this is the place where he was buried.
The Camino Frances de Santiago from Sarria is the most traveled section of the pilgrimage. In it you will enjoy charming corners and impresnsive landscapes.
In it you can taste traditional Galician cuisine and visit medieval castles.
